Gameplay Programmer
Gunfire Games is seeking an associate or mid-level gameplay programmer for our upcoming titles. The gameplay programmer will work with the technical leadership to add features to our Unreal Engine 5 based codebase and fix bugs. The ideal candidate has strong C++ skills, a good understanding of game design, and the ability to iterate and implement quickly without sacrificing quality. Required to be a self-starter, must be motivated and able to work with minimal supervision. Position may be performed remotely (within the United States) although ability to be on-site is preferred.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Implement features and tools from a provided design
Work closely with designers, artists, and animators
Proactively identify and deal with issues in the game
REQUIREMENTS
Fluent in C++
Strong game design sensibilities
Must be able to adapt smoothly and efficiently to changes in project demands
Must be physically in the US and legally able to work in the US without employer sponsorship for an indefinite period of time
PLUSES
Experience making a mod for a game, or building a small personal/team game
Unreal experience
A computer science or related degree

Pay range: $60,000 - $100,000. Title level (associate or mid) and base pay offered will be based on candidate’s skills, experience, and other professional considerations.
