Gunfire Games, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This policy outlines what data our titles access when using Meta Platform Features, how that data is used, and your rights regarding that data.

Section 1: From Other Suns

1. Data Accessed During Multiplayer Sessions

When using Meta Platform Features during multiplayer gameplay, From Other Suns temporarily accesses the following user data:

  • USER_ID
    Used to identify and manage the user’s multiplayer session.

  • USER_PROFILE (Display Name and Avatar)
    Used to display the user's name and avatar in-game during multiplayer sessions.

  • FRIENDS
    Used to identify which Meta friends also own the game and are eligible for connection in multiplayer sessions.

  • INVITES
    Used to enable the sending and receiving of game invitations between users.

  • MATCHMAKING
    Used to group players into multiplayer sessions, either with Meta friends or with public players, based on the user’s matchmaking settings.

2. Purpose of Data Use

Each data point listed above is accessed only to enable specific multiplayer functionality as described. No additional or unrelated purposes apply to any of the accessed data.

Users can select from three matchmaking settings within the game:

  • Offline – No online interaction or data access.

  • Friends Only (default) – Only Meta friends who own the game can join the session.

  • Public – Allows connection with other players who own the game but are not on the user’s friends list.

3. Data Storage and Retention

From Other Suns does not store, retain, or share any of the user data accessed through Meta Platform Features. All data access is temporary, used only during the active multiplayer session, and is not persisted after the session ends.

Since no data is stored, no data deletion mechanism is required.

Section 2: Chronos

1. Data Accessed at Game Launch

When launching Chronos, the game temporarily accesses the following user data via Meta Platform Features:

  • USER_ID
    Used solely to verify that the Meta user owns Chronos and has the rights to play the game.

2. Purpose of Data Use

The USER_ID is used only at the moment of launch to confirm user entitlement. No additional data is accessed, and no features beyond ownership verification use this information.

3. Data Storage and Retention

Chronos does not store, retain, or share any user data accessed through Meta Platform Features. The USER_ID check is temporary, used only at launch, and is not retained after verification.

Since no data is stored, no data deletion mechanism is required.
