Remnant: From the Ashes Subject 2923 DLC Coming Soon!

The Final and Most Expansive DLC will Bring an End to The Root Once and for All

Survivors will continue the fight for humankind and put an end to the dreaded Root, the evil force plaguing Earth, in Remnant: From the Ashes – Subject 2923. In a brand new campaign mode, players will discover the origins of the Dreamer Program and its connection to the Root. Following the downfall of the Dreamer, the streets have grown quieter, and more humans are braving the city. Hope has been rekindled, but Earth is not rid of the Root just yet. As players seek out the location of the remaining Root, they will meet unexpected allies, traverse unfamiliar zones and dimensions and overcome new threats to put an end to this evil force, once and for all. This thrilling new adventure will span across the rugged wilderness of Earth and beyond, where players will experience new quests to complete, new gear to acquire, along with new enemies and bosses to conquer.

Below is a detailed list of features for Subject 2923:

  • New Campaign Mode: Subject 2923: Players will discover the origins of ‘The Dreamers’ and how they connect to the dreaded Root in this brand-new campaign – continuing the story of Remnant: From the Ashes with an expedition to Ward Prime, and several new locations.

  • New Zones, Bosses, and Quests: From rural lands and an abandoned military base on ruined Earth, to the frosty and unforgiving heights of the mountainous world Reisum, players will take on intense new challenges as they continue their fight for survival.

  • Superior Firepower: Players will outfit their character in order to survive these dangerous new experiences, choosing from a host of new weapons and modifications, new armor sets and skins, and new trinkets.

  • Survival, Adventure, and Hardcore Mode Updates: New threats emerge in Survival Mode and Adventure Mode, as monsters, dungeons, and bosses from Reisum are added to the rotation - while Survival Mode and Hardcore Mode receive a suite of new rewards.

Remnant: From the Ashes | Available 2019

Remnant: From the Ashes is an all-new survival action shooter from Gunfire Games, available for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One in 2019.

What do I get for Pre-Ordering the Game?

- Pre-Ordering the game will net you 3 exclusive armor skins, and a survivor pack of items.

Is this a shooter looter or as the kids call it, a “sh-looter”?

- We designed Remnant loot to be more meaningful, you won’t be churning through similar guns, searching for better stats.  Instead weapons are unique, and you upgrade those by crafting and slotting mods onto them.

Are there Micro Transactions, Pay to Win items or DLC in this game?

- There are no micro transactions in the game.  However, we look to support the game post launch with meaningful DLC.

I hear this is randomly generated, Is there a narrative?

- Playing through campaign mode will take you through major story beats, but the elements between those points are randomized. This extends to bosses you will fight, NPCs you’ll encounter and items you’ll find. So, while the main story stays the same, the journey through will feel different each time you play!

Are there Character Classes?

- There are 3 starting archetypes to choose from in Remnant, however their weapons, armor and traits can be acquired by any character eventually.

What’s the End Game content or NG+ options?

- At any point in the campaign you can re-generate your world and start over.  Doing so will allow you to carry over all your upgrades, weapons, armor and items. Post release, we are looking to add more game mode options.

Is there PVP in the game?

- At launch, there is no PVP option.  If the demand is there, we can look into it post launch.

Does Remnant support cross-play?

- At launch there is no cross-play support.  Post launch, it is something we can look into.

Is there match making? What are my online/offline options?

- You can start your own game, set it to offline, friends only or public.  Alternately, once you’ve completed the tutorial you can take your character into a friends game or join a public game.

How do the pre-order skins work?

- The pre-order skins are alternate visuals of the 3 starting archetype armors and can only be applied to those armor sets.

Is there a ‘hide helm’ option?

- Not currently. Post launch, it is something we can look into.

I have a technical problem or concern, who do I contact?

- For all Technical Support with Remnant: From the Ashes, please visit https://support.arcgames.com/ or email support@perfectworld.com .

Improvements:

•    Multiple improvements to help performance and loading (both on base and upgraded spec consoles).  Performance improvements should also significantly reduce stuttering in high-density areas.

•    Adjusted invulnerability windows across all difficulties.  The windows are consistent on Balanced, Challenging and Apocalyptic and even more significant on easy.

•    Modified hit indicators for better readability.

•    Added version number on the main menu.

Fixes:

•    Fixed various crash issues.

•    Added Force Respawn functionality.  This option is available in the game options menu.  It will kill Fury and return her to the last Vulgrim Waypoint that you visited.  This option is a last resort to be used if you think you are stuck in an area for whatever reason.

•    Added functionality on Force respawn that will force the hollows to re-equip to Fury.  This is for the issue where Fury’s hollow abilities appear to have stopped working.

•    Fix for issue where Force blocks were getting stuck in Scar.  If you have encountered this issue, it should destroy the stuck block, and if you come back to the area, it will reload the block in the correct starting area.

•    Fix for issue where X and O prompts are reversed incorrectly when confirm and back functionality is changed in the console settings.

•    Fix for issue where certain stacked breakables wouldn’t break in Bonelands.

•    Fix for issue that would break Gluttony fight.  Fix should also fix saves that had this issue.

•    Fixed multiple issues where players can get Fury into unintended locations or unintended locations without expected Hollows (in some cases Force Respawn may need to be used).

•    Reduced Fafnir Enhancement’s damage output.

•    Increased Havoc Generation on Obscurus Enhancement

•    Increased Health and Damage amounts on Fortifier Enhancement
